There were fears that the deal would fall through as Homeboyz asked for what the TPL considered an unreasonable fee but after more engagements between the two clubs, Mwana has now moved to the Tanzanian Premier League alongside former Bandari duo of Felly Mulumba and Justin Ndikumana.“I have officially completed my transfer to Coastal Union. Initially, there was a problem because Kakamega Homeboyz wanted over one million in compensation but eventually, the two clubs reached a compromise fee and I am officially a Coastal Union FC player,” the seasoned striker told Mozzart Sport. On his decision to move to Tanzania, Mwana said he was keen on playing in a different league and the Tanzanian one was fitting as it has been on an upward trajectory in terms of growth.“I wanted something different. I have played in Kenya for close to ten years and I wanted to try out a new league and the Tanzanian league was an obvious choice because the league is growing, it is well marketed and I am looking forward to getting started,” he added. On his integration into the team, the striker says he has already settled in well.“I have been training with the team for some time now, I played in the friendly match against Bandari and so far I can say that I am settling in well. I am here to be successful as an individual and also play a role in the team’s success. I am a professional and I try to do my best where I ago,” he added.Harambee Stars’ Amos Nondi craving for action after sealing move to Armenia
