CHAN 2022: Uganda claim maiden win over Senegal to ascend to Group B summit

Neighbors Uganda claimed a memorable 1-0 win over Senegal courtesy of an opening half strike from Milton Karisa in an Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) clash staged at the May 19 Stadium in Algeria.Victory saw Uganda scale to the summit of Group B with four points after their opening barren draw against joint record champions DR Congo but Senegal are chasing hot on their heels with three points.
