Veteran central defender Abdallah Salim has revealed what triggered him to rejoin Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) side Nairobi City Stars for a second stint.City Stars got rid of the defender who is famously known as Shittu in July last year but the two have reunited ahead of the opening of the mid-season transfer window.Shittu penned a deal with FC Talanta as soon as he left City Stars but never featured for the Communications Authority of Kenya sponsored club.##NAJAVA_MECA_7049235##Prior to signing a deal at Talanta, the hard-tackling defender was rumoured to be on his way back to the National Super League as MCF were reportedly eyeing his signature.Additionally, the former AFC Leopards man was strongly linked with a move to the 2008 league champions Mathare United whom he trained with for a couple of weeks.Shittu disclosed that when the call and offer from Simba wa Nairobi came, he didn’t think twice about it owing to the fact that he fully understood the club’s system, management and the task ahead.Wanyama features as Montreal go down in MLS season opener”I felt I had unfinished business at the club and this explains why I accepted their offer.
