He says the goal was to get to the 30-point mark and pointed at four matches that he feels they should have won but either lost or drew.”We had a target of 30 points for the first leg, but we managed 22, so we fell short by eight points,” he said. “But it’s a target we should have achieved because matches against Kariobangi Sharks, Ulinzi Stars, Mathare United, and Kakamega Homeboyz are games that we dropped points in a way that we should not have,” the youthful tactician said.There’s a silver lining in the performance, though, as they have done slightly better than they did last year, a season that at one point risked dropping into the red zone.”Compared to last season, there were some improvements because we managed 17 points for the first leg last year. We are also in position 10, compared to 13 at this stage last year. I think those are the only positives I can take from our first-leg performance and try to do better in the remaining games,” he added.The tactician knows what has to be done and says they have to get better as individuals and as a team.”We have to do better in the second leg; we have to improve both as a team and as individuals. Internally, we know what needs to be done, and the goal is to start the second leg strongly.
