Midfielder Gospel Otieno intends to rise up the ranks fast at Kakamega Homeboyz FC as soon as he gets a chance to start for Abana Beingo.Roped in from Kariobangi Sharks FC where he struggled to find playing time, the youngster believes Homeboyz offers a fertile ground for growth.‘’Homeboyz is a top club with many experienced players, so I know it’s going to take a lot of effort to make the first team,’’ he says.Otieno recently joined the club during the current mid-season transfer window, a time when the club that finished second last season is struggling to grind out results.##NAJAVA_MECA_7118248##Brought in to boost the midfield department that already has seasoned names including Estone Esiye and Ahmed Ali Bhai, he knows his work is cut out.‘’I have already made the match day squad twice and that is a positive sign. With the club already turning their bench in just the first leg, player exits have also been witnessed paving way for such youngsters as Otieno to join.Also on the roster for Homeboyz in the second leg of the season are Edwin Apaa, Farouk Shikhalo, Dennis Sikhayi, Hillary Wandera, Kevin Amwayi and Enock Masinza.
