Defending Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) Champions Tusker FC on Wednesday made a big statement in regards to adding pressure on the leaders as they came out 1-0 victors over AFC Leopards in a Wednesday afternoon game at the Nyayo National Stadium.It all looked as if the game was headed to a 0-0 draw until the 92nd minute of the game when Lawrence Luvanda crossed his ball to Stewart Omondi – who lashed a right footed shot to the net, giving the visitors a late late win.Tusker with the win move into second place with 42 points, just four points above leaders Gor Mahia and with a game in hand.Gor Mahia vs Sofapaka. Elsewhere at the Kasarani Stadium, league leaders Gor Mahia missed on a chance to extend their lead on top of the FKFPL standings as they were held 0-0 by Sofapaka in a Round 22 game on Wednesday afternoon.The result means that with their seventh draw of the season, K’Ogalo are now on 46 points, only four ahead of Tusker in second place.AFC vs Tusker Game Recap.
