PSG Ultras protest against Al-Khelaifi, insult Messi

The loyal fans have had enough. This year it will be 12 years since Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) bought Paris Saint Germain and Nasser Al-Khelaifi became the club’s president. In this period, the club won eight titles (with ninth on the horizon), compared to only two in the history of the club before the Qatar buyout. The mighty rich PSG also won a number of Cup trophies and were runner-up in the Champions League, and yet the most loyal fans are angry. They are angry and they want the resignation of Nasser Al-Khelaifi as well as Marco Verratti, Neymar and Lionel Messi, and they made that very clear tonight, in their protest. In addition to a press release published in the afternoon, the Ultras have expressly requested the departures of Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, Marco Verratti, Neymar and Lionel Messi. The fans gathered around the banner which said: “PSG where are you, where are you going, do you hear me?” and demanded overall changes, from the management and the locker room, to the proposed stadium chance and ticketing issues. PSG suspend Messi for his Saudi Arabia sudden vacation! One of the fans leaders, Romain Mabille, spoke to the masses.”There is no captain on board the boat. We want a president who is more present, who agrees to meet us when we ask him” he said, and added that the players are shaming the club and that the PSG fans are only accepting Parc des Princes as their stadium, and not the proposed Stade de France. The fans press statement also underlined the situation with players.Messi travels to Saudi Arabia while others train in Paris“It’s time to clean up the locker room. Too many players under contract are not present at this day only to receive the salary and not for sporting ambition. A change in sports policy which must be done in favor of the young people of the training center according to them. It is out of the question to continue on this series of infamous matches, we expect a strong reaction from Sunday in Troyes” reads the statement. 🔴🔵 PSG ultras are outside the club headquarters protesting for change at board level: “Management, resignation!” (@danigilopez) pic.twitter.com/Jy5NRGun0F— EuroFoot (@eurofootcom) May 3, 2023 Even before this protest, it became obvious that Lionel Messi was not going to stay in Paris. From the very optimistic negotiation period in December 2022 and even some sort of verbal agreement, something happened and the contract extension was not signed. And with recent suspension from the Parisians, both French and Spanish media are writing that the Argentine is leaving the club in June. His new destination is not yet known. It could be Barcelona, or USA or Saudi Arabia. ##NAJAVA_MECA_7226375##
