Harambee Starlets ace finally links with new Ukrainian club

Harambee Starlets attacker Cynthia Shilwatso has finally linked with her new club FC Kryvbas Women in Ukraine after nearly one and a half months.Since signing for the team back in March from Tanzanian top-flight side Fountain Gate Princess, the Kenyan international had not travelled to Ukraine due to logistical issues arising due to the political tensions in the country.

In a post on their social media platforms on Wednesday, the club officially confirmed Shilawatso’s arrival at the club as they shed some light on why she had not managed to link up with the team sooner.“Cynthia Musungu Shilvatso arrived in Kryvyi Rih! The contract with the Kenyan striker was signed back in March, but due to certain bureaucratic and logistical difficulties, only now the player will finally join Vladimir Efimako’s team!The Kenyan player has experience of playing in Spanish La Liga and more than 20 matches for her country’s national team.
