Where is this world headed – there is a team that does not want Mane and Cancelo on their roster?

Two incredible footballing talents, players with incredible work rate, trophy-laden – Sadio Mane and Joao Cancelo are finding themselves in a strange place. When news emerged that: first, the Senegalese star would join the Bavarians and secondly the Portuguese would swap Etihad for Allianz Arena – it sounded like Bayern would have one of the best players at their positions on their roster and that it would boost the team’s performances immensely. It turned out to be completely opposite and the two are understood to ‘have no future at Bayern Munich’, as per Sky Sports Germany. Senegal forward Mane, 31, only joined the Bundesliga champions in a deal worth an initial 31.5 million euros from Liverpool last summer. Meanwhile, Portugal right-back Cancelo, 28, has spent the second-half of the season on loan at Bayern from Manchester City.##NAJAVA_MECA_7261911##Cancelo has featured in 19 games during the spell, scoring once and setting up six further goals. His loan deal included the €70m option for Bayern to buy Cancelo from City this summer but Sky report this isn’t looking likely despite the possibility of haggling Bayern down in price. With Cancelo adamant he won’t be returning to City after falling out of favour with Pep Guardiola, reports suggest Barcelona are interested in taking him on loan next season. And as for the African ace – Mane has scored 12 times for Bayern in an injury-disrupted campaign but it will be best remembered for his dressing room bust-up with Leroy Sane after they lost 3-0 to Manchester City in the Champions League.Mane’s game time has been limited all season and that situation has barely changed since Thomas Tuchel replaced Julian Nagelsmann as their manager. He was only introduced from the bench five minutes from the end of their 6-0 win over Schalke on Saturday, though did tee up Noussair Mazraoui to score in stoppage time. And Sky Sport Germany report this was a ‘clear sign’ Mane will be put on Bayern’s transfer list this summer. They add only Premier League clubs are likely to be able to afford Mane’s €20m salary.🚨🔴 Sadio Mané (31) & João Cancelo (28) do NOT have long term futures at Bayern Munich. Both players are not expected to stay at the club beyond this summer, reports @SkySports. pic.twitter.com/lWma4bYSES— EuroFoot (@eurofootcom) May 16, 2023 Both players are expected to depart Bayern this summer. The Bavarians are engaged in a toe-to-toe race for the Bundesliga title. With two rounds of the season remaining, they are just a point clear of Borussia Dortmund at the top of the standings.
