The experienced professional initially joined the Cityzens on loan in 2019 until the end of the 2020/21 season. When his contract with Derby County ended in 2021, he signed for City on a free transfer – and has clearly conducted himself in a manner which prompted all the coaches, including Pep Guardiola, to say “yep, this is our guy”.
