NSL: Evans Mafuta appointed New Mwatate United head Coach

National Super League side Mwatate United have appointed Evans Mafuta as the club’s head Coach following the sacking of Mark Otieno Asa. A source at the club confided to Mozzart Sport that the former Vihiga Bullets gaffer is already in Mwatate and was in the attendance during Sunday’s National Super League tie aganist Mully Children Home FC at Wundanyi Stadium. He takes over Mark Otieno Asa who was shown the door last week under unclear circumstances . However,Senoir figures at the club , attributed the sacking on poor performance and lose of the dressing room. ##NAJAVA_MECA_7283857##Mafuta is expected in the dugout during their away match against Murang’a Seal on 3rd June,2023 at St Sebastian Park in Murang’a County. “We are glad to have him here and we expect to confirm his appointment on Thursday this week during the board of management meeting.” Said Gamaliiel Mwarabu the club’s Media Director and CEO. Evans Mafuta has previously coached division two side West Indies Eldoret , National Super League outfit Silibwet Leons before moving to FKF Premier League side Vihiga Bullets.
