Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Division one side Buruburu Sports has been relegated to Kenyan fourth tier league, division two.FKF league’s and competitions department made the decision to relegate them from division one after the club failed to honour three league matches, citing financial woes.The Buruburu-based club did not show up for Administration Police, Zetech Titans and Kenya Navy clashes prompting the decision from federation.Speaking to Mozzart Sport, a source at the club indicated that they decided to take the bitter decision to withdraw from the league due to tough financial constraints.Harambee Stars report for camp ahead of Mauritius Four Nations Tournament“As a board we sat down and saw it better to quit division one and wait for division two next season. The funding at the club is not sufficient to keep us going. We are supposed to pay for referees’ fee, ambulance fees and security then at the end of the season seven teams are relegated.
