Kenyan international John Mark Makwata will be actively looking for a new home in the near future after, the striker’s contract was terminated by Botswana top flight side, Gaborone United.In an official communique released by the club, Gaborone announced that the Kenyan, who had signed a two-year deal back in August 2022, will not see out the remainder of his contract following a mutual parting of ways after just one season.“We would like to announce that the Club has terminated the contract of Kenyan striker John Mark Makwata by mutual consent. Makwata joined the club at the beginning of the season. We would like to thank Makwata for his contribution during his stay at the club. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors,” the statement read.
