When the 2022/23 season began, Arsenal fans were modestly optimistic, not about the title race, but rather their chances of finishing the season in the top 4, without having a nervous end of the campaign, fearing for their team’s Champions League place. And they were right, as the Gunners secured their place in UEFA’s most popular league early enough, and yet, the fans still ended the season nervous and disappointed. In the meantime, their team rose to the number 1 place in the league and stayed there until the very end, when a couple of bad results, coupled with a defeat from a direct rival Manchester City brought them to second place. Armed with that experience, they last wanted to see the last few games before May 19th 2024, when the next season will end.OFFICIAL: Arsenal’s 2023/24 Premier League fixtures. ⤵️ pic.twitter.com/P5tYeGXb2w— Connor Humm (@TikiTakaConnor) June 15, 2023 The beginning of next season looks promising as Nottingham Forest, a team which defeated Arsenal 1-0 in those crucial matches for the title, is back, and the Gunners will be happy to prepare proper revenge. Crystal Palace and Fulham are up next before Manchester United comes to town. But the end of the season is what really frightens the fans. If, by any chance, Arsenal are in the title race come April, they will have two really tough road trips: Tottenham on the 27th of April and the Red Devils on the 11th of May. The last game of the season should be a ‘calm’ game with Everton at the Emirates.Premier League fixtures 2023/24: Chelsea host Liverpool on the opening dayWith the Gunners returning to the Champions League this term, coach Mikel Arteta and his players will have a packed schedule and playing on all four fronts could see them play as many as 50 games this season. But it’s not all bad, as the fixtures allow the North London to set up a successful season early on – Arsenal will have 10 games at the Emirates in the first round of 19 clashes – three against the Big Six and Newcastle – with nine after the new year.##NAJAVA_MECA_7318431##
