Kisumu to host FKF- Division – One mini-league promotion play offs

Moi Stadium in Kisumu is set to host this year’s FKF Division Two Central Zone promotion play offs games on July 1st 2023 with the winner getting a ticket to Football Kenya Federation Division One League next season. A total of four teams that emerged victories in their respective Zones will battle out for the coveted slot. Baraka Roses, Nakuru Bucks, Ichuni Combined and Manyatta United all qualified from Zone A, B, C and D respectively. Nyandarua based Roses concluded the season on 43 points to edge out second placed Restart on 31 points whereas Peter Wekesa coached Nakuru Bucks emerged winners of Zone B amassing 43 points two ahead of flower growers Shalimar FC.The mini league hosts Manyatta United booked the play offs spot after a final day win over Amani Youth to advance with a one point advantage . Ichuni Combined qualified from Zone C with a comfortable five points lead. ##NAJAVA_MECA_7347324##The draw to determine the play offs fixture has taken place with the first semi final scheduled for 9AM, Zone D champions Manyatta will kick start the day battling Nakuru based Bucks with the second semi final pitting Kisii’s Ichuna Combined and Baraka Roses. Winners in both semis will lock horns in the grand final set for 3PM EAT at the same venue with champions gaining automatic promotion to FKF Division One Zone B league for the upcoming season.
