So getting off to a good start, and not falling behind the pack, will be imperative for those like Bernd Wiesberger, Tony Finau, Justin Thomas, Si-Woo Kim and Cameron Champ — all of whom are currently tied for sixth at 4 under. The leaders, Justin Rose and Will Zalatoris, go off at 2:20 p.m. today.
But good luck trying to cozy up to a few of the early pins, says Golfweek’s senior writer David Dusek, who broke down the hole locations.
After No. 3, which is tight on Saturday to the front and right of the green’s edge, the fourth hole will also cause consternation.

“I think this is the toughest (location) on the hole because everything is from back to front,” Dusek said. “You don’t want to be putting back down the hill yet you’ve got bunkers that are going to be flanking that hole location on the left and right. The ideal position would be short but who wants to be short? … This is a diabolical whole location.
“I think it’s really, really challenging today.”
