Kompany trusts Malian boy to be the basis of Burnley’s rock-solid defensive wall

The newly-promoted Premier League side Burnley led by Vincent Kompany have reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund to sign Soumaila Coulibaly on loan with a purchase option of €15m, L’Equipe reports on Saturday.The 19-year-old French centre-back of Malian descent joined Borussia Dortmund from PSG in 2021, signing his first professional contract but has played just 61 minutes altogether in the Bundesliga and the Champions League for the German greats.
