Scandal grips Zambia! “If the coach wants to sleep with you, you have to say yes”

Shocking claims of sexual assault against the head coach of Zambia’s women’s football team have surfaced just as the team is preparing to take part in the Women’s World Cup.After being hired in May 2018, Bruce Mwape assisted Zambia in making its first-ever World Cup qualifying appearance. The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) announced in September 2022 that it has requested that FIFA conducts an investigation into claims of sexual assault in women’s game. Mwape and the under-17 coach Kaluba Kangwa, were believed to be among the FAZ workers under investigation.##NAJAVA_MECA_7358594##One of the sources from within the squad revealed chilling details in a conversation with The Guardian.”If Mwape wants to sleep with someone, you have to say yes. It’s normal that the coach sleeps with the players in our team.”Another source claims all players received threats regarding possible leaks to the media. But there is no stopping the story now.”They are being threatened with punitive action if they dare say anything about what happened. The federation looks the other way because the women have had good results. It’s their way of showing the public and the authorities success and a good image. But behind the scenes, it’s very ugly.”FIFA Women’s World Cup Build-up 19 DAYS TO GO 🔥Copper Queens Head Coach Bruce Mwape shares his thoughts on the game against Switzerland yesterday. The Match ended Switzerland 3-3 Zambia, the next friendly Zambia will be against Germany. Here is the post match interview below pic.twitter.com/itWSKEtsUs— Jane Dunta mwemba (@jane_dunta) July 1, 2023 FAZ’s general secretary Adrian Kashala told the British newspaper that the federation would conduct its inquiry and be available for cooperation should the Zambian authorities take up the case.”Although we have no record of official complaints from anyone on the allegations, we consider these allegations very seriously and have opened an inquiry into the matter.
