Things were going pretty well for Tyrrell Hatton at the 2023 Open.
But then, he got to No. 18 at Royal Liverpool in the second round. And the wheels came off.
Ultimately, at the par-5, he made a 9 for a quadruple bogey. And when he finally putted the ball in to finish his round, he took his putter, pretended it was a gun and — sarcastically, I assume — took a couple of “shots.”
Hey, it’s better than the meltdown we saw two years ago or when he flipped the bird at a pond. And 18 is a tough hole!
