Tusker FC coach Robert Matano has paid glowing tribute to his former captain Humphrey Mieno who was among seven players dropped by the brewers ahead of next season.Matano said he is grateful to have worked with the veteran midfielder pointing out that he played a big role to help the team fight for last season’s Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) title where the brewers finished runners-up.“He served us well and always gave his best on the pitch. However, time had come to let him go,” said Matano.He insisted that there is still room for him to work with Mieno in future and he is not ruling out that possibility.“Mieno still has a lot to offer in football.
