Otimong Primary School in Busia County is set to host this year’s Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Division Two Western Zone promotion playoff games on Saturday 5 August 2023 with the winner getting an automatic ticket to Division One next season.A total of four teams drawn from both Western Zone A and Zone B will battle for the coveted slot. Zone A winners Compel FC alongside the zone’s runners up Bungoma Stars join Zone B champions Kiminini Combined and GFE 105 FC for the race to third tier next campaign.Webuye based Compel concluded the season on 48 points to edge out second placed Bungoma Stars who were a point adrift both sides booking a place to the playoffs making a return to the border county for the first time in six years.
