Kakamega Homeboyz prospect Enock Masinza is feeling ecstatic after making his first official start for Kakamega Homeboyz.The left-back winger started for the Kakamega-based outfit in a 2-0 home win against Shabana FC last Sunday.The left-footed defender had a great outing, playing full minutes and putting in a man-of-the-match performance.Despite a couple of second-half cameos, the former Green Commandos defender has been involved in three goal contributions in Homeboyz’s 5-0 thumping of Sofapaka and 1-0 late win against Ulinzi Stars matches, with the latest being a 2-0 win over Shabana.Masinza, who joined Homeboyz in 2021 from the FKF Division 2 side Green Commandos, says he’s happy with his progress and vows to work hard to retain his starting breath on the team.”It feels great having had my first start for the club after over two years since I joined the club. I have mostly had second-half appearances, which worked to my advantage in terms of my growth. I really looked forward to one day starting a match in the green and yellow colours, and I am proud that it came to pass on Sunday.
