Proceeding onward, the round of 16 has been scheduled between March 30th and 31st, 2024. With a CAF Confederation Cup slot and a cash prize at stake, the finals have been marked for June 6, 2024.Kakamega-based FKF Premier League side Kakamega Homeboyz are the cup-defending champions. They beat Tusker by a solitary goal in the 2023 final to lift the cup. They, in turn, earned a ticket to the CAF Confederation Cup, where they exited in the preliminary round after losing to Libya’s Al Hilal Benghazi.The winner of the cup walks home with KES 2 million, with the runners-up getting 1 million.
