The Riv measures 7,322 yards and will play as a par 71. The field of 120 golfers is competing for a first-place prize of $1,674,000 with a total purse of $9,300,000. The winner of this event also gets a three-year exemption on the PGA Tour.
The winner also gets 550 FedEx Cup points, something that’s new in 2021. Adam Scott is the tournament’s defending champion. No one has repeated as champ since Phil Mickelson in 2009. The top four and eight of the top ten ranked players in the world are in the field.
