Add to that the already injured striker Michail Antonio, and AFCON bound Ghana winger Mohammed Kudus and it was obvious that the guests were in disadvantage from the first whistle. After Conway scored at the beginning of the match, the Hammers got back in the game and created some chances, but Zouma and Mavropanos missed it. Apart from the missing players, nobody can score in West Ham. Benrahma’s last goal was in the Europa Conference League final last term and he continued the unfortunate streak after receiving his marching orders in the 50th minute. Maxwell Cornet was given a chance, but he has gone 30 games without scoring and didn’t manage a goal tonight.
