Nzoia Sugar suspends coaching duo

Nzoia Sugar FC have suspended coach Godfrey Oduor and goalkeepers coach Erick Wasike over what the club describes as dismal results.The two were served with suspension letter on Tuesday evening this coming hours after a section of the club supporters demonstrated demanding the coaching staff and the management all be kicked out.##NAJAVA_MECA_7805722##The demand for changes emanated from Sunday’s 5-2 loss to an equally struggling Shabana FC at Sudi Stadium in Bungoma , a result that left the millers, who finished in the fourth position last season rock bottom in the log with 14 points after 18 rounds of league matches. How coach Godfrey “Solo” Oduor was arrested amidst financial dispute with FKFThe two have been suspended for a period not exceeding three months and have been advised to hand over any club property in their possession in addition to showing cause why their services should not be terminated. Oduor rejoined Nzoia Sugar FC in August after parting ways with KCB FC.Former Mara Sugar FC head coach Steve Biko who has been serving as Oduor’s deputy has been tasked with leading the team temporarily. Yes we have some off field promises but like it was last season but our display in some games has been bad, our performance against Shabana was terrible and it was evident that we had to make changes if we are have any chance of surviving this season.
