Football Kenya Federation (FKF) is looking at the possibility of having Harambee Stars play a friendly match against Ecuador next month as part of preparations for the CHAN tournament.FKF President Nick Mwendwa confirmed that plans are underway to have the local-based players and the technical bench assess preparedness for the tournament in a friendly match next month.Kenya is set to co-host the tournament alongside East African countries Uganda and Tanzania in September and Mwendwa believes exposing the team to high-profile matches will contribute to having a formidable squad before the competition gets underway.“We have a request, and we are trying to put it together. It is far but the local team can make it.
