REPORTS: Morocco to host AFCON 2025 between July and August

Ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 qualifiers draw set to take place on Tuesday 20 February 2024, in Cairo, Egypt, at 3 PM EAT, it has now emerged that Africa’s premier competition will be held in Morocco during the summer.As per respected Morocco journalist Hanif Ben Berkane the decision was made after months of discussions between CAF and the Moroccan Football Federation, with FIFA also playing a role in mediating the agreement.##NAJAVA_MECA_7881652##The Confederation of African Football (CAF) is expected to officially announce the new changes for the tournament which will take place from July 23 to August 21.The tournament was originally scheduled to be held in January and February 2025, but was postponed due to concerns about the weather conditions in Morocco during that time of year.
