Wajir AllStars won the Safaricom Chapa Dimba North Eastern region title by defeating Garissa’s Lyon 04 FC at the Garissa University Grounds on Sunday morning. The first goal was scored by Adan Mohammed just before halftime, with a simple tap into the net. Sheikh Osman then doubled the lead for Wajir on the 70th minute mark with an impressive free kick. Lyon, the runners-up, were awarded Ksh 150,000 for their efforts.All players from both teams were given Neon smartphones, which are the first locally assembled 4G smartphones in Kenya. Additionally, exceptional players in various categories were individually recognized and awarded Ksh 30,000 each.
