Hussein Mohammed, a candidate for FKF presidency, has been barred from Saturday’s FKF Annual General Meeting by the Football Kenya Federation, citing his non-membership as CEO of Extreme Sports.Murang’a Seal listed Hussein as their chairman, allowing him to represent the club in the AGM focused on planning the roadmap for upcoming polls.However, FKF rejected this decision, stating Hussein isn’t a legitimate club chairman based on documents submitted during Club Licensing registration. The club cited Robert Macharia, also Murang’a County FKF boss, as their chairman.Letter from FKF CEO Barry Otieno to Murang’a SealWe are in receipt of your correspondence dated March 5, 2024, nominating Mr. Hussein Mohammed as Murang’a SEAL FC’s delegate in the upcoming FKF Congress.Following a comprehensive review of the registration documents and other details thereof regarding Murang’a SEAL FC submitted in compliance with Article L.02 and L.03 of the FKF Club Licensing Regulations and Article 54 and 55 of the CAF Men’s Club Licensing Regulations (2022) attached for your reference, we would like to inform you that Mr. Hussein Mohammed is not registered with FKF as a member of Murang’a SEAL FC or FKF in general, in accordance with Article 11 of the FKF Constitution (2017) and Article 8.1.4 of the FKF Rules and Regulations Governing Kenyan Football (2019). In light of the aforementioned, Mr. Hussein Mohammed is therefore ineligible to represent Murang’a SEAL FC in the upcoming FKF Annual General Meeting.Furthermore, it is important to note that based on the documents submitted during the Club Licensing registration process, Murang’a SEAL FC is formally registered as Murang’a Sports Excellence Academy Limited.
