The family of KCB goalkeeper Brian Olang’o has confirmed that the custodian was dumped by his abductors deep in Ngong Forest after information about his disappearance went viral on Monday afternoon.Olang’o, after being among the substitutes in their game against Shabana FC on Friday afternoon, went missing on Saturday evening after informing his wife that he was stepping out to meet his friends at an undisclosed location in Nairobi.##NAJAVA_MECA_7938731##News about his disappearance spread like wildfire on Monday, with his employer and family calling on those with information about his whereabouts and pleading with the public to volunteer information that would help in locating him.Before the day came to an end, the former Kariobangi Sharks and Mathare United keeper reunited with his family, although he was not in the best condition.According to his elder brother Kevin Olang’o, he was abducted around the Taj Mall area by three men (two Kenyans and a man of Nigerian descent) who bundled him into a car, confiscated his phone, and cleaned out his bank account. Luckily, he had notified his spouse that he was in danger before they took the phone.Olang’o had earlier revealed that they had reported it to DCI officers in Ruai who had begun tracking the player’s phone number.“We reported the matter to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) offices in Ruai earlier today, but we have been referred to their counterparts in Buruburu where we are now. The police have tried to track his phone, but it is difficult as it is on and off. It was last traced on Kikuyu Road, but we received a text from his number saying he has been released by his alleged captors in Ngong,” Kevin revealed to Mozzart Sport.”We are sure that he is not the one using the phone to text, and the entire family is very distressed.
