CS Namwamba tours abandoned Mombasa stadium, pledges to complete its construction

Sports Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba, alongside Sports Principal Secretary Eng. Peter Tum, Sports Kenya Director General Pius Meto, and Mombasa County’s CEC for Youth Affairs and Sports Kenneth Ambani conducted an inspection of the dormant Mombasa County Stadium on Saturday, with the aim of jumpstarting its development.The stadium, once a host venue for major international and local events, is now a deserted site after the contractor abandoned it, leaving the once vibrant stadium in a state of neglectFollowing the assessment, the CS declared the unwavering commitment of the National government to finalize the stadium’s construction, originally initiated by the Mombasa County government.
