Gor Mahia head coach Johnathan McKinstry has implored his side to “push on” in the remaining FKF Premier League fixtures this season with the target being lifting the domestic title in June. The defending champions hold a seven-point lead on top of the table with 10 matches left, but McKinstry believes that with a pretty demanding run-in to navigate, his players will need to keep in mind that “trophies aren’t given out in February and March, but in May and June.”##NAJAVA_MECA_8002739##The first of the aforementioned fixtures will come in Saturday afternoon’s match-up against seventh placed Kakamega Homeboyz, who are unbeaten in three of their last four games against K’Ogalo; the other being a post-match penalties loss in this season’s Shield Cup final.Patrick Odhiambo’s side is also unbeaten in its last six games in all competitions, and last weekend unstaged Tusker to book a slot in the Mozzart Bet Cup quarter-finals.Mozzart Bet Cup: Kakamega Homeboyz dispatch Tusker to storm quartersSpeaking to The Star ahead of the game, McKinstry, who oversaw his side fall to Bandari in their last Premier League game before the international break said: “Our goal is to win games.
