Kenyan youngster Jon Okok Ochieng is currently on a three-month trial at Turkish Premier League side Fatih Karagumruk. The teenager, who plays as centerback and can also slot it as a defensive midfielder, will be trying out at the U19 side of Fatih Karagumruk. According to his father who also doubles up as his manager, Paul Ochieng, Jon is also being eyed by the junior side of another Turkish side, Sivasspor. “He has been in Turkey for two-weeks now and has adapted well so far. He will train with the club for three months and hopefully sign at the beginning of the season.” Ochieng told Mozzart Sport. Jon has also previously played for Kibra Elite Soccer Academy (KESA) and Ligi Ndogo. His elder brother, Jan Ochieng, 21, who is currently in the books of Dutch lower-tier club CSV Apeldoorn, also held trials at Fatih Karagumruk earlier this year.
