Former Ulinzi Stars and Vihiga Bullets central defender Stephen Orare is prepared to return to competitive football after a year in the cold.The ex-Silibwet Leons, right-footed defender revealed that frustrations forced him to take a break after the deals he was eyeing fell through. I’ve played in most clubs from the lower divisions, first with Tusker Youth and Ulinzi Stars, among others, for whom they gave me top-flight exposure, though it did not last longer,’’ he said. Orare made his entry into the football scene in the country after being spotted during the Safaricom Chapa Dimba 2018 edition with Kapenguria Heroes.It is after the tour to England with the Chapa Dimba team that, former Tusker assistant coach Leonard Odipo lured him to join the club’s youth team. Bullets were promoted alongside FC Talanta. “At Ulinzi, things didn’t go well, so I had to leave immediately and joined Bullets in Division One, where I was made captain and managed to secure promotion in our first season. I had a lot of offers then, but the Bullets move offered more potential for growth than what was at hand then,” he opened up.Kenyan youngster beaming with excitement after graduating from Nastic AcademyAfter a year, Orare left Bullets for Silibwet, and would later join Kariobangi Sharks for trilas.However, things did not go according to plan at Sharks after failing to reach a deal leaving him evaluating options. He found shelter at Soy United and later at the Tanzania Championship side Singida Fountain Gate, where he departed without making a single appearance.
