The 2024 PGA Championship got underway at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky, on Thursday morning and a champion will be crowned on Sunday.
A total of 156 golfers have their eyes on winning the major championship and the right to hoist the Wanamaker Trophy. However, the cut will take place following the conclusion of the second round, reducing the field by roughly half.
The cut line, as always, is dependent on the field’s performance, and the exact score needed to make the cut won’t be known until late in the action on Friday. The top 70 players and ties after the second round advance to Saturday and Sunday for the third and final rounds, respectively.
