Harambee Stars coach Engin Firat has clarified that team captain Michael Olunga is part of his squad for the up-coming World Cup qualifier against Burundi and Ivory Coast.He also clarified that Richard Odada as well as Daniel Anyembe are also part of his squad.“What should have been clarified is that the squad that was released by Football Kenya Federation (FKF) was a provisional one that should not have included foreign based players,” he explained.”The position is that Olunga, Anyembe and Odada are part of the team but they will link up with us in Malawi since they are still engaged with their clubs and will not train with us at home before we leave,” he said.##NAJAVA_MECA_8117185##The tactician insisted that there is no way he could leave out Olunga whom he termed as one of the top players in the team.Olunga, Odada miss as Firat names Harambee Stars provisional squad for World Cup qualifiers“Last week during an interview in Turkey, I made it clear that Olunga is one of our top players. There is no way I can leave him out of such an important match,” he added.Firat also revealed he was still monitoring some players with the intention of including them in the final squad.“There are some players still under consideration due to the fact that they are either injured or recovering from injury.”Firat said he is not worried about playing away insisting that the team is now used to the atmosphere as they have hardly played at home in the last one year.“We have played most of our matches away in the last one year and so this is not special.
