After consultations for up to half an hour, it was agreed that the game would be called off as it was not safe to play it.The announcement at the venue was that the game would be replayed tomorrow at the venue without fans, with only the final 30 minutes of the game being played to decide the Cup finalist.FKF has now released a statement announcing that the matter will now have to go through the League and Competitions Committee for determination.FKF Statement:The Mozzart Bet Cup semifinal match between Kenya Police and AFC Leopards has been abandoned in the 60th minute due to an injury sustained by second assistant referee Samuel Kuria. Kuria was struck by an object, rendering him unable to effectively officiate and in need of urgent medical attention. To ensure the safety of players, officials, fans, and staff, the match officials made the decision to walk off the field.At the time of abandonment, Kenya Police held a 1-0 lead courtesy of Tito Okello’s 7th-minute goal.
