Seven goals, two complete turnovers, Jordan Ayew hat-trick and Premier League players domination and injury time drama – that’s the shortest possible summary of the 4-3 Ghana’s win over Central African Republic. The Black Stars fans, who filled the Baba Yara stadium witnessed a roller-coaster of emotions as their heroes took the lead, then allowed two goals from the hosts, before turning the game over and winning with a little drama in the end. And the game was won by a number of Premier League players in the Ghana squad. First it was Ayew from Crystal Palace (three goals), then it was Abdul Fatawu Issahaku from promoted Leicester (one goal), while Thomas Partney (Arsenal) had an assist. The prominent members of tonight’s game were Mohammed Kudus and Kamaldeen Sulemana, who were a constant attack for the Central African Republic players.Goal: Jordan Ayew | 🇬🇭 Ghana 1-0 Central African Republic 🇨🇫 pic.twitter.com/Ha444YZT2v— PushGoals (@PushGoals) June 10, 2024 Goal: Louis Mafouta | 🇬🇭 Ghana 1-1 Central African Republic 🇨🇫 pic.twitter.com/KzVvDW3FFS— PushGoals (@PushGoals) June 10, 2024 Goal: Louis Mafouta | 🇬🇭 Ghana 1-2 Central African Republic 🇨🇫pic.twitter.com/qljKHD20pt— PushGoals (@PushGoals) June 10, 2024 Goal: Jordan Ayew | 🇬🇭 Ghana 2-2 Central African Republic 🇨🇫pic.twitter.com/bmMPRYFKrb— PushGoals (@PushGoals) June 10, 2024 When Jordan Ayew opened the scoring in the 6th minute, the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi erupted with joy. But first of the two shocks came just five minutes later, when Les Fauves equalizer through their best scorer Louis Mafouta. The Amiens scorer didn’t stop there and just five minutes before the end of the first half stunned everybody with a brace and total turnaround of the match. Mafouta used the total confusion of Ghana’s defense and scored even thou the hosts were in total control of the game up to that point.Goal: Abdul Fatawu Issahaku | 🇬🇭 Ghana 3-2 Central African Republic 🇨🇫pic.twitter.com/M8Ik3LfKmZ— PushGoals (@PushGoals) June 10, 2024 Goal: Jordan Ayew | 🇬🇭 Ghana 4-2 Central African Republic 🇨🇫Jordan Ayew hat trick!pic.twitter.com/UtM5NsHDH9— PushGoals (@PushGoals) June 10, 2024 Goal: Louis Mafouta | 🇬🇭 Ghana 4-3 Central African Republic 🇨🇫pic.twitter.com/9TRyOmCyGq— PushGoals (@PushGoals) June 10, 2024 The domination on the field continued in the second half as well and in the 50th minute Mohammed Kudus burst from the right and sent a wonderful pass to the penalty area. There was nobody there from the guests and Kamaldeen Sulemana just needed to be precise, but his shot went over the bar. After that, everything was perfect until the end. First Ayew scored his second goal of the game and equalized in the 60th minute, and then Issahaku completely turned the result with a little help from Sadik Ndobe, who defected his shot straight into his own net. The Ayew’s night was complete with a hat-trick which sealed the game in the 69th minute, and Ghana had more chances but failed to score. Mafouta decided it’s time to ‘spice’ the game a bit and scored a hat-trick of his own in the 90th minute, after a stunning free kick, but the home team managed to hold on to the lead until the 96th minute. Even thou the Black Stars are first in the group with this win, they could easily drop to the third spot if Madagascar an Comoros win their games tomorrow.WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS – AFRICAMondayEquatorial Guinea – Malawi 1-0 (0-0)/Salvador 81/Somalia – Botswana 1-3 (0-1)/Hassan 74 – Sesinyi 10, Gaolaolwe 53, Seakanyeng 72/Guinea B. – Egypt 1-1 (1-0)/Balde 42 – Salah 70/Benin – Nigeria 2-1 (2-1)/Dossou 37, Mounie 45+3 – Onyedika 27/Uganda – Algeria 1-2 (1-0)/Mutyaba 10 – Aouar 46, Benrahma 58/Ghana – Central African Republic 4-3 (1-2)/Ayew 6, 60, 69, Issahaku 62, Mafouta 11, 41, 90/Burkina Faso – Sierra Leone 2-2 (1-0)/Outtara 41, Traore 45+2 – Kargbo 58, Bakayoko 87/Guinea – Mozambique 0-1 (0-0)/Catamo 90+3/
