Nderitu tips Bidco United to bag first major title next season

Bidco United midfielder Martin Nderitu believes that the club has come of age and will be a strong candidate to win either the league or Mozzart Bet Cup title next season.The Thika-based club is in its fourth season since gaining promotion late in 2020 but still remains win-less as far as major titles are concerned.The Anthony Akhulia-coached side clinched the second edition of the Elite Pre-season Cup before the start of the current campaign, one of their brightest moments since promotion. ##NAJAVA_MECA_8161503##Nderitu says the team has gained sufficient experience that he believes, will come in handy in their quest for titles next season.The central midfielder says the move by the club’s head coach, Akhulia, to boost his knowledge by successfully graduating with a CAF A badge will enhance their chances of making the podium next season. “I think we have gained the requisite experience to compete for titles next season. We are no longer newcomers in the top level, and our ambition has changed from surviving relegation to title contenders,” he told Mozzart Sport. Before joining Bidco, Nderitu had last played a top-flight match in April 2022 with Mathare United, who were later relegated to the second tier. “I am enjoying football again after regaining my form. I had been out for a season, but I am glad to be doing what I love best again. All I wish is to win titles with Bidco,” he added.
