Bandon Dunes is ditching the plastic water bottle.
In a blog post published Thursday, Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Oregon writes that in the last five years, almost 650,000 plastic water bottles were used on the property.
“That’s why we’ve been making changes and will no longer be ordering them going forward,” said the blog post.
The blog post also announced a partnership with The Freshwater Trust and Yeti. Golfers visiting any of the properties can purchase a Yeti water bottle for $20 and have it refilled as often as needed at any of 14 new water refill stations.

Also in the blog, Bandon Dunes – home to five of the highest-rated modern public-access courses in the United States – announced it will have recyclable aluminum bottles of water available across the resort.
