Gor Mahia appoint Martins Neiva as new head coach

Twenty-one time FKF Premier League champions Gor Mahia have officially unveiled Leonard Martins Neiva as their new coach for an undisclosed period.Neiva, 46, is a Brazilian Pro License football coach and former Brazilian footballer, and comes in to replace the exiting Johnathan McKinstry.##NAJAVA_MECA_8186095##McKinstry left his role as Gor Mahia head coach at the end of the 2023-24 season for a national team role with The Gambia, and won two consecutive league titles while in charge.Joining Neiva in his new-look technical bench will be Sofapaka head coach Zedekiah ‘Zico’ Otieno, who is expected to come in as the assistant coach.Also on the bench will be Michael Nam, expected to retain his role as one of the assistants.Neiva, whose 17-year career includes stints with national teams and clubs all over the world, comes with a stacked resume.More to follow…
