- Djokovic still tied with Margaret Court on 25 grand slams
Carlos Alcaraz has magnificently defended his Wimbledon title by beating Novak Djokovic 6-2, 6-2, 7-6 (4) to win the men’s singles final.
The Spaniard becomes just the sixth man in the Open era to win Roland Garros and Wimbledon back to back and now with four grand slam titles at the age of just 21, Alcaraz is well on his way to being another great of the game.
Tumaini Carayol’s match report will follow shortly.
