Tusker FC interim coach Charles Okere believes that early preparations have brought out an air of positivity ahead of the new season, even as the squad begins its series of friendly matches on Thursday.With a trip to Uganda coming up this weekend, Tusker, who have been in pre-season camp for the last three weeks, are set to play a combined side in Dandora Stadium on Wednesday, a game Okere says will give them a better look at where the team is at.##NAJAVA_MECA_8244649##Over the past three weeks, the 12-time champions have engaged in player physical and medical tests, and have also made good business in the transfer window, signing five new players, including Jacob Onyango, Alex Onchwari, Dennis Wanjala, Eric Balecho, and Thomas Omole.The experienced trio of Michael Kibwage, Deogratious Ojok, and Charles Momanyi have also landed contract extensions, keeping them at the club for another season.Commenting on the off-pitch transactions, Okere said: “So far, so good. We have had support from the management, and there is such a positive mood between the new players who’ve just come in and the older ones.
