‘We will not take part in a culture war’: Bach defends Khelif’s right to fight at Olympics – video

The Olympic Committee president, Thomas Bach, has defended boxer Imane Khelif’s right to compete at the Paris Games after the boxer had previously failed a gender test. “How can someone being born, raised, competed and having a passport as a woman, not be considered a woman?” he asked reporters at a media conference in Paris. “We will not take part in a politically motivated cultural war.”
