Odhiambo vows to break title jinx at KCB

Patrick Odhiambo believes that he will be the first coach to break the long-standing title jinx at Football Kenya Federation Premier League side KCB following his appointment.Odhiambo, a CAF A coaching license holder, ditched Kakamega Homeboyz, after nearly two years of service, for KCB last month.The soft-spoken tactician succeeded Bernard Mwalala, who left the Bankers following the expiry of his season-long contract.##NAJAVA_MECA_8262779##Despite their massive financial muscle, KCB have never won a major title since inception unlike their rugby and volleyball teams which have been doing exceptionally well in their respective competitions. The closest KCB have come to winning a title has been in last season’s Mozzart Bet Cup where they lost 8-7, on post-match penalties, to Kenya Police in the final. A look at FKF Premier League one-club loyalistsThe extended wait for the first title has been triggering change of coaches at the football club but Odhiambo believes, he will make a difference during his tenure.”It is possible to win a title in the new season.With good preparations and focus, we can achieve it as a team.
