First formal offer for Osimhen and it‘s not Chelsea

As the June transfer window approaches its closure, the likelihood of Victor Osimhen remaining at Napoli for at least another six months is increasing. Despite Napoli’s efforts to sell him, especially with Romelu Lukaku on the verge of joining, a concrete offer from major European clubs like Chelsea, PSG, or Arsenal has yet to materialize. Aurelio De Laurentiis initially hoped to secure over 100 million euros for the Nigerian striker, but as time runs out, he may have to lower his expectations. Reports from Italy suggest that Napoli might be willing to accept a 65 million offer from Saudi club Al Ahli which is the first official one. However, the challenge lies in the fact that Osimhen is reluctant to leave Europe. The big problem is that Osimhen does not want to move to the Saudi Pro League, so he is willing to wait it out for a late proposal from Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal or even Chelsea. He want‘s to play in the Champions League in this part of his career. The Nigerian striker is demanding a high salary of 12 million annually and insists on a reasonable release clause in his contract. Al Ahli is reportedly open to modifying their offer to meet these demands, but it’s uncertain whether Osimhen will agree to move.Empoli rain on Dybala’s Olimpico parade, Conte pushes Napoli to their first winOsimhen has not featured in Napoli’s squad for the first three matches of the season—against Modena in the cup and Verona and Bologna in the league. Whether he will still be at the club when Parma visits on August 31st remains unclear. For the transfer to happen, a substantial fee must be paid not only to Napoli but also to Osimhen himself. While Al Ahli certainly has the financial capacity, it would be surprising if, after prolonged negotiations with Chelsea and interest from Arsenal and PSG, the 25-year-old striker ends up playing in Saudi Arabia. If the move does happen, Osimhen would join a star-studded Al Ahli team that includes Roberto Firmino, Riyad Mahrez, Franck Kessié, Édouard Mendy, and Gabri Veiga.SERIE A MATCHDAY 2SaturdayUdinese – Lazio 2-1 (1-0)/Lucca 5, Thauvin 49 – Isaksen 90+5/Parma – Milan 2-1 (1-0)/Man 2, Cancellieri 77 – Pulisic 66/Monza – Genoa 0-1 (0-1)/Pinamonti 45+7/Inter – Lecce 2-0 (1-0)/Darmian 5, Calhanoglu 69 pen/SundayTorino – Atalanta 2-1 (1-1)/Ilic 31, Adams 49 – Retegui 26/Fiorentina – Venezia 0-0Roma – Empoli 1-2 (0-1)/Shomurodov 80 – Gyasi 45, Colombo 61 pen/Napoli – Bologna 3-0 (1-0)/Di Lorenzo 45+2, Kvaratskhelia 75, Simeone 90+4/Monday19:30: (2.20) Cagliari (3.50) Como (3.50)21:45: (5.40) Verona (3.60) Juventus (1.70)***odds are subject to change***
