The only European Champion from France, Olympique Marseille, is celebrating its 125th birthday! Throughout the club’s 125-year history, Marseille have won nine Ligue 1 titles (1937, 1948, 1971, 1972, 1990, 1991, 1992, and 2010), ten French Cups, three League Cups, and the aforementioned Champions League in 1993, beating AC Milan in the grand final.The club also played three UEFA Cup/UEFA Europa League finals but lost all of them – to Parma in 1999 (3-0), to Valencia in 2004 (2-0), and to Atletico Madrid in 2018 (3-0).
