National Super League kickoff postponed

The 2024/2025 National Super League (NSL) season has been postponed. The 20 teams competing in the league will have to wait a little longer before they can start playing competitively again.After speculation that the start date of the new season would be postponed, the Football Kenya Federation has now confirmed this to the clubs.In a communication sent to the clubs, which Mozzart Sport has seen, the NSL teams have been informed that the new season will now kick off two weeks later than initially planned, on Saturday, September 7, 2024.“We have an important update regarding the start of the new season for the National Super League (NSL)…The League will now kick off on Saturday, September 21, 2024,” reads part of the statement.##NAJAVA_MECA_8309127##The decision to postpone the start of the league has been attributed by the federation to “recent developments.”Mozzart Sport understands, the club chairmen have asked FKF to help in paying of match officials fee for the upcoming campaign. However, the review of the applications has commenced today.“We would like to inform you that the First Instance Body (FIB) will begin reviewing your license applications today, Monday, September 2, 2024.
