Versatile Harambee Stars player Amos Nondi is a happy man after following the return of his teammate Alwyn Tera to the national team after three years in the cold. Tera made his second appearance for Stars on Friday in the opening match of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Zimbabwe that was staged at Mandela Stadium in Namboole. Despite not taking part in the final training session, Tera was thrown in the closing stages of the match that ended in a barren draw. Both Tera and Nondi share the dressing room at Aratat Armenia in the Armenian top tier from the time the latter joined the club in January last year. ##NAJAVA_MECA_8318134##Tera, had been missing from the national team since the final 2022, World Cup qualifier match against Rwanda played at the Nyayo National Stadium in November 2021.Nondi, on the other hand, has been a regular and one of the most regular players in the team given that he comfortably slots in midfield and as a right back. He says it is satisfying to see the efforts which Tera has been putting in at the club level earning him a place in the national team. “I am happy to see him back in the team.
